Man, 21, dies in two-vehicle road crash in Ebbw Vale

A 21-year-old man has died and four people have been injured in a two-vehicle collision in Blaenau Gwent.

Emergency services were called to the incident in Waun y Pound Road, Ebbw Vale, at 19:43 GMT on Friday.

Family liaison officers are currently providing the man's family with support.

Waun y Pound Road was closed for a time and Gwent Police is appealing for anyone with information to ring 101 quoting log 459 29/11/13.

Police originally said the dead man was 17 years old, but subsequently confirmed the age as 21.
