Kenya rape: Mother's anger at grass-cutting punishment

The mother of a Kenyan teenager who was gang-raped and then thrown in a pit latrine breaking her back has told the BBC that she wants the suspects arrested and for "justice to be done".

Hundreds of protesters in Kenya have handed over a petition to police demanding justice for the 16-year-old teenager who is referred to as Liz to protect her identity.

The three men accused of gang-raping her were ordered by police to cut grass as punishment.
