Man, 56, arrested in Scottish terror probe

A 56-year-old man has been arrested and charged under section five of the Terrorism Act 2006 and alleged conspiracy to murder.

He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday.

A further five people have been arrested by Police Scotland under anti-terrorism legislation since last week.

The police have previously said the operation involved the Police Service of Northern Ireland and the security service.
