Man arrested over death at Clydebank flat

A man has been arrested in connection with the death of another man at a flat in Clydebank in West Dunbartonshire.

Ian Gerard Rankin, 46, was found by police seriously injured in the town's Graham Avenue at about 01:30 on Sunday.

Mr Rankin, known as Gerry, died a short time later.

Police Scotland said a 20-year-old man had been detained. He is expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
