These positions are on a contract basis, to work at the factory located in Aruvankadu, The Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu, for a period of one year from the date of engagement.

Eligibility is open to Indian citizens. The tenure-based employment can be terminated at any time by either party with one month's notice or payment of the Basic Pay plus DA components in the consolidated remuneration in lieu of the notice period. Cordite Factory Aruvankadu AOCP Selection Process:

The selection of candidates will be based on the marks scored in the NCTVT exam and the Trade Test/Practical Test, ranked in order of merit. The Cordite Factory will determine the cut-off percentage for calling candidates for the Trade Test based on the total marks secured in the NCTVT exam.

• A merit list will be prepared based on the combined marks from the NCTVT exam and the Trade Test/Practical Test.
• The weighting of marks will be 80% for the NCTVT exam and 20% for the Trade Test/Practical Test.

Monthly Salary (Stipend):

Technician Apprentice: ₹ 8000/- per month
Graduate Apprentice: ₹ 9000/- per month

Educational Qualifications:

Technician Apprentice: Diploma in relevant engineering.
Graduate Apprentice: B.E. / B.Tech Engineering Graduate in relevant discipline.

Eligibility Criteria:

(1) Only fresh pass-out candidates (passing their respective courses in 2021, 2022 & 2023) can apply.
(2) Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination earlier then 2021 are not eligible.
(3) Candidates with post-graduate qualifications are not eligible to apply.
(4) Those candidates who have completed the qualify examination as regular candidates are only eligible to apply.
(5) Degree / Diploma holders, who had training or job experience for a period of one year or more after attaining the essential qualification, shall NOT be eligible for being engaged as an apprentice under the Act.

Selection Process: The Selection will be made on the basis of Percentage of mark secured by candidates at essential qualification level OR Personal Interview through Video Conferencing (Virtual) mode for shortlisted candidates only.
