IGNOU Recruitment 2023 Apply Online, Notification | 102 Typist, Steno Vacancies

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) invites online applications for the recruitment of non-teaching positions, namely Junior Assistant cum Typist (JAT) and Stenographer, to fill a total of 102 vacancies. Interested candidates can apply through the Online Application Registration on the NTA Portal starting from 1st December 2023. Indian citizens with a minimum qualification of 10th or 12th pass and typing knowledge are eligible to apply for IGNOU Non-Teaching Vacancy 2023-24, and the closing date for applications is 21st December 2023. The selection for IGNOU Stenographer and Typist Vacancy 2023 will be based on Computer-Based Test and Typing/Skill Test only.

IGNOU Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit:

✔️ Junior Assistant cum Typist: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 27 years
✔️ Stenographer: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years
✔️ The Upper Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC (NCL) and Plus 10 years for PwBD.

Educational Qualifications:

✔️ Junior Assistant cum Typist:

(1) Matriculation with 12th class Pass (10+2) or equivalent.
(2) Typing test with a speed of 40 w.p.m. in English or 35 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer.
(3) Desirable: A bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

✔️ Stenographer:

(1) 10+2 or equivalent
(2) Typing test with a speed of 40 w.p.m. in English or 35 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer.
(3) Shorthand Test @ 80 w.p.m.
(4) Desirable: A bachelor’s degree. Knowledge of Computers.

IGNOU Recruitment 2023 Selection Process:

Tier-I: Computer Based Test (CBT) (for both posts)

There will be Computer Based Test (CBT) to be conducted in bilingual (Hindi/English) form by NTA.

Tier-II: Skill Test / Typing Test (For JAT Post)

Skill Test/Typing Test Qualifying in nature subject to minimum qualifying speed of 40
w.p.m in English or 35 w.p.m. in Hind

Tier-III (Stenographer Post)

Stenography Test @ 80 w.p.m. Typing Test Qualifying in nature subject to minimum qualifying speed of 40 w.p.m in English or 35 w.p.m. in Hindi.

Step IV: Payment of fee using suitable mode of payment as per details given in this section.
Step V: Choice of Examination Centre.
