Fabulous book. Lindeberg is one of my favourite photographers and his books dont disappoint.

The introduction is interesting, his subjects trust him and when they see images they can see themselves. I have read other reviews about this book noting that some of the images are out of focus and some are street scenes, to me that is the whole point of the book and encapsulates his marvelous work.

Well recommended not only for the quality but also for inspiration he provides.

This collection features some of the most dramatic portraiture I can remember - that cover picture (Berri Smither) being just one example. Page 45 features a handsome woman with strong features, an even gaze directly out of the page, and ambiguously seductive pose. Other images emphasize physical power, grace, androgyny, tribute to Josephine Baker, and many more thoughts, often in complex combinations. Fans of nude photography will find relatively few samples here, but it does explore a lot of the gray area between clothed and not.

The one thing this collection brings out most is variety - the different faces of beauty (within the twenty-something range, at least), the different roles women take on, and more. I recommend this to anyone who takes a thoughtful attitude toward women's beauty.

Belle foto e ottimamente stampate. La rilegatura è abbastanza leggeruccia e dà la sensazione che a forza di spaginare il libro qualche pagina prima o poi si stacchi ma al di là della qualità della rilegatura le foto meritano !!!
