Anglesey sea search for missing Isaac Nash, 12

Family members have joined police in the search for missing Isaac Nash, 12, who was swept into the sea off Anglesey while on holiday.

He had been playing with another boy in the water at Aberffraw when they got into difficulty although relatives tried to rescue them.

Members of Isaac's family, who are from the Huddersfield area, are helping officers check the shoreline.

Three lifeboat crews are still checking the area.

Local people are also helping in the search, say North Wales Police.

A specialist underwater search team has been called in to help and are due to check the nearby estuary.

Holyhead coastguard staff took an emergency call at about 12:30 BST on Friday reporting that three people were stuck on rocks in the estuary.

Trearddur Bay RNLI volunteers launched a lifeboat within three minutes before being joined by lifeboats from Porthdinllaen and Holyhead along with three helicopter crews from the police force, Air Ambulance and RAF Valley on Anglesey.

A police spokesperson said: "Three lifeboats were launched this morning and continue to search the area whilst being supported by the police helicopter.

"Officers have been patrolling the shoreline, along with family members and local volunteers wishing to help.

"Further specialist support from the police underwater search team will provide assistance during this afternoon."
