I've been using this case since I got my Galaxy S7 the beginning of March, 2016, and I have to say that it meets my needs and I couldn't be happier. I really like the design of the GS7, and think it's a beautiful phone, but it's slippery and made of metal and glass, and I wanted some protection for a device that costs $700. I've always put cases on my phones, as I only upgrade every 24 months and want my devices to last. I wanted a case that was lightweight, durable, and clear because I don't want to hide the aesthetics of the phone.

The Spigen Ultra Hybrid case covers every requirement that I have. The back is hard polycarbonate while the bumper is flexible TPU, which mesh really well together. The camera and port cutouts provide plenty of room for plugs and the raised buttons for volume and power work and feel great. It also has very slightly raised bezels, which allows you to rest your phone screen-down without worry of the glass contacting the surface. I never do this personally, but I know those who do. It also aids in the protection from drops. The price was also very attractive and you are paying a very low cost for a premium product. I plan on updating this review down the road to touch on wear and tear when I get more time with the case.

Great Value for Money on this case. It doesn't add to much bulk to the phone, just enough to feel like it offers a significant amount of protection. The case is totally transparent so it does not hide the sleek look of the phone. The buttons are completely covered and totally functional. Opening are cut logically to allow for charging plug and headphones. The camera is protected and the case is raise slightly on the front to protect the screen. The fit is perfect. For the money, I don't think you can do much better if you're looking for a clear case. Spigen is a good name brand in cases, I've had good luck with past purchases from them.

Pretty Good for Clear Phone Case

I bought this before the S7 release date, so that the second i got my phone out of the box i could get it into the case. It is definitely clear, and is slim enough that it's almost unnoticeable. I haven't dropped my phone yet, so I don't know exactly how protective it is, but I do know it has a slight lip to protect the screen which is nice.
The back does not get the oily shine, since it doesn't stick to the back, and it is indeed very clear - I can see the back very well, with no color distortion.
Unfortunately, it does get covered in fingerprints and the like very quickly. In addition, through normal use, the back around the edges has gotten scuffed a bit, and since the case is clear I can see it very easily.
So, nice, clear, protects phone in daily use at least, but with fingerprints.

Good Fitting But Slippery Plastic Hardback Case

The appeal of a clear case might be to highlight the phones original design and in that regard it succeeds graciously. The clear design compliments the original beauty of the Galaxy S7. One downside to the clear design however is it tends to highlight fingerprints as well as any specks of lint from your pocket which will inevitably make their way in to be trapped and framed behind the plastic. The case will need to be cleaned often. On the upside this case is cut perfectly. All of the buttons work swimmingly. The soft TPU covers the side and front which feels nice to hold and runs over a tad so the screen does not touch a flat surface when facing down. Sadly, the soft TPU only covers only these areas. The back is made out of hard plastic which has turned my 700$ phone into an air hockey puck. I considered getting some self-stick non-slip surface pads for it.

After reading up on all the case selections for the Galaxy S7,I decided to give this one a try. It arrived today and it looks pretty darned nice on my phone. I must have not been paying attention when I was researching new phones and didn't realize it has a glass back. I'm used to having a very durable phone (aka Kevlar Motorola models), so I very quickly got online to find a sturdy case.
It feels good in the hand, looks great too. I hope I don't have to test out how good it protects from drops, but since I'm a total klutz I'm sure to find out sooner than later. I'll update my review then!! But this is my first hybrid case and I really dig it.

Update: I've dropped my phone a few times now, and so far this case has helped. It's gotten a little scratched on the back, but better the case than my phone. Looks good still, and if it becomes too scuffed for my taste I'll just pick up a new one, for this good price.

It's been nearly a year since my purchase, and this case has saved my phone's bacon multiple times!!!
I just received a new one, since my old one has become a bit scuffed and discolored. Now I have one for work and a pristine one for going out! I bought a couple for friends and everyone is happy with these covers.
I included a before and after photo to show how it's aged. I work in a really grubby environment so I'm glad to have my old one to use there. Thanks again. My favorite cover to showcase a fancy phone.

Just replaced a speck case with this one, and I like it so much better. Slimmer, but great coverage. Fits like a glove. Crystal clear plastic. Button covers are in the right place and are easy to feel out. I set it down carefully on a table once and it already has a scratch, but I don't really mind. Packaging was also awesome- felt high end. I'll update on durability in a few months.

Update: As of June 2019 this case is still going strong. I've taken it off several times to clean it and my phone, and it still fits perfectly. The plastic has yellowed/browned a bit, but since my phone is gold I don't really notice. It seems to be less discolored than other clear cases I've seen. Still 5 stars.

Avevo bisogno di una custodia per protteggere il mio nuovo Galaxy S7, ma non volevo una cinesata. Spigen l'avevo conosciuta su Youtube, ben recensita dai vari canali specializzati e così ho deciso di acquistare questo modello. Arrivato perfettamente imballato nel punto di arrivo che avevo segnalato con un giorno di anticipo sul previsto. La custodia si presenta semirigida e si fa una certa fatica a metterla, nel senso che non essendo di gomma morbida, bisogna spingere un po' di più, ma quando è calzata, a mio parere aumenta sensibilmente la già buona portabilità del device, che risulta essere ancor più facile da impugnare e non scivola più in nessun modo. Presenta inoltre agli angoli come dei microcuscinetti d'aria, atti a ammortizzare meglio le cadute. Inoltre l'essere trasparente, non va a nasconedere la bellissima colrazione grigio titanio. Ho letto che qualcuno si è lamentato dell'effetto bolla di sapone sul retro, effettivamente c'è, poca ma c'è, ma non mi sembra un dettaglio così grave da far rinunciare l'acquisto, si forse per i fanatici dell'estetica, visto che si vede solo con il device inclinato in un certo modo e solo in una piccola area vicino la fotocamera. Prezzo 9.99 euro, ottimo, visto che la cover di un S2 comprata in un centro commerciale e nemmeno di marca l'avevo pagata 4 anni fa 10 euro ed era sia qualitativamente che esteticamente lontana anni luce da questa. Ovviamente lo schermo non rimane protetto, però la cover offre un leggero bordo e se dovesse cadere di schermo, credo che il pavimento lo toccherebbe prima la cover in ogni caso. Aggiungo un aggiornamento, dopo circa tre mesi di utilizzo, la custodia non sembra ingiallirsi, inoltre ha protetto ottimamente il device per ben due volte e da cadute fatte a circa 2 mt di altezza, dove sia la custodia, che l'apparecchio non hanno presentato danni di nessun tipo. A distanza di anni si ingiallisce, pur mantenendo intatte le caratteristiche di protezione del device. Dopo oltre 5 anni la cover è ancora intatta, però si è tutta ingiallita ai bordi ed è tutta opaca sui 4 angoli, peggiorando e non di poco l'estetica del telefono, che funziona ancora a meraviglia e che penso cambierò solo nel caso non dovesse più far girare bene i programmi principali. Probabilmente la prossima custodia la comprerò o colorata trasparente o nera, visto che ingialliscono anche quelle che garantiscono l'antigiallimento.

Ho comprato questa custodia per il mio (ahimè già danneggiato) S7, dopo aver tentato diverse soluzioni con flip cover e cover bifronte, scomode e bruttine.
Innanzitutto, il materiale già al tatto sembra solido e resistente, la custodia è arrivata nella sua scatola, opportunamente imbustata e pellicolata nella parti trasparenti.
L'inserimento del telefono è stato agevole ma non troppo, dandomi la sensazione di un case che non si sfila facilmente dagli angoli.
L'aspetto è pulito e molto gradevole, il colore verde acqua è brillante ed elegante, nonostante si tratti di un materiale plastico.
La protezione dello schermo e della fotocamera posteriore data dallo spessore della custodia sembra ottimale, ma non incide negativamente sull'impugnatura del telefono e sulla sua usabilità.
