A wild giant panda was spotted near a village in Yueba Town, Hanzhong, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, on April 7, cnwest.com reported yesterday.

He Qinggui, a local farmer, found the "national treasure" chewing bamboo beside a road and watched it for about five minutes.

He took pictures of the panda, which was friendly and lovely, and then left the animal to enjoy its favorite food.
