Young Thug is facing drug and weapon charges after his home was raided yesterday afternoon, reports Mike Petchenik. Thug was arrested Wednesday morning arrest for threatening to shoot a security guard. This pair of charges is unrelated to his being named in an indictment that alleges he and Birdman were a part of a conspiracy to kill Lil Wayne.
This is getting pretty ridiculous. It's hard to keep all the facts straight. Here is a rough timeline:
7/15 6am: Thug arrested without incident from his house in Sandy Springs, GA for making terrorists threats to a mall security guard.
7/15 1:30pm: ATF and Sandy Springs police raid Thug's house.
7/15 9:00pm: Thug named in the Lil Wayne conspiracy indictment.
7/16 10am: Thug reportedly charged with drug and weapons charges.
He remains detained at DeKalb County Jail. As of last night his bail was set at $11,200. That number is likely much higher now.
