Good news for hideously wealthy gearheads: The McLaren P1 GTR, a track-only hypercar that comes with its own racing series and damned near 1000 horsepower, will be officially unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show this spring. Prepare your checkbooks—and your heart meds. This thing is just astoundingly wicked looking.

Like the Ferrari FXX K, the P1 GTR is not so much a car as it is a racing series for the incredibly well-heeled. The multimillion-dollar buy-in gets you the car—which is not at all street-legal in any way—as well as entry into a P1 GTR racing series, complete with a pit crew and bespoke driver training at McLaren’s Technology Centre in Woking.

McLaren has doled out plenty of tantalizing images of the extreme-to-the-max, 986-hp hybrid hypercar, and is building hype even further with a teaser video. We’ll take it all.

The finalized GTR will make its formal debut at Geneva in March. Production begins later this year, so there’s plenty of time for oil barons and industrial scions to earmark the estimated $3.3 million this baby will cost.
