In a new video for Converse Rubber Tracks, one half of the legendary Hip Hop duo shares personal anecdotes about working at Stankonia, Big Boi discusses crafting songs in the Atlanta studio with Andre 3000.

“We’ve been working out of this studio for over 20 years,” says Big Boi from the location. “We started when we were 16 years old. We would sleep right in front of this board.”

Converse Rubber Tracks is providing emerging acts 18 years and older the chance to record at Stankonia for free. Other iconic studios – including Sunset Sound in Los Angeles, Tuff Gong in Kingston, and Abbey Road in London – are available as well.
