These guys are AWESOME! There wasn't a time before and so far not really since, like the early 80's! I had all of my high school years in 1980-1981 and 1982-1983, and 1983-1984. Obviously graduated in 84'. The Romantics have a ton of great tunes and this is a whole batch of their greatest (I guess that is why the call it "The Very Best of The Romantics"!)....... So anyways it is great music and when you cannot seem to find CD's, or older CD's I mean, thank goodness for Amazon and the company's that come through them! I cannot say enough about this album! I only really collected old 45's when I was a teenager because I used to DJ dances when I was of the ages of 15-19 and I never looked to get most of the albums, just the 45's because that is what I used to use all the time. But in my experience here, well, I would have loved to get the full albums of these guys! I love the fact that I bought it and would recommend it to anyone because I think this music is good for any time!
