Watch the World Pay Tribute to France

1 minute read

In the wake of Friday’s attack in Paris that killed more than 120 people and left 359 injured, the world united in honor of France’s victims, expressing their sorrow, anger, and support.

Landmarks across the globe, including the London Eye, the Tokyo Skytree, and the White House, turned red, white, and blue, the colors of the French flag. Candlelight vigils spread across the world. Even sports matches paused for silence.

“This is an attack, not just on Paris, it’s an attack not just on the people of France, but this is an attack on all of humanity and the universal values that we share,” President Obama said.
