Fill your time with positive activities, such as sports, watch tv, travelling with the family, and so on, a lot of people gambling because they've got time to spare so they use for activities that are ugly.
Watching tv is not positive activities, it is only waste your time. I also disagree when you said the reason why people keep gamble are because they get a lot of free time. No, it is not, the reason why they keep gamble are because they already addicted. They will keep gamble even though they are still on their working place/school How can you say that? I think watching TV is a good way to have positive outcome if you want to quit gambling for good. It is not even a waste of time, because you can do other things altogether while watching TV. I've been doing this all the time and I can say when my hands are startling to gamble then I just turn on my TV and watch variety shows. |

The only way to quit gambling, is by not playing. If you find it hard to do this simple thing you seriously got problems. Just don't play. You have $10 don't bet them, buy something to eat, donate to charity but don't gamble them when you want to stop

Most of these activities can certainly put your mind off gambling as they will not trigger any craving for the act but the environments we choose to try out these activities should be carefully picked! Maybe a change of friends who gamble might be an easy fix for this.  |

If an individual is winning, then I dont see the need of wanting to quit, on the otherhand, for someone losing from very angle, if that individual is sane, he ought to know gambling is not meant for him. The only way I know is look for something else to either occupy his time if the reason for gambling is for fun, but for someone who is there for making money then he needs to find another stable source of making money without that its like flogging a dead horse.

If it is difficult to stop, it will come naturally, when we got bored playing gambling after several years and you never get the results, I'm sure you will stop when it finds things that are better than gambling. |

It may be that way flr you but i find a couple of gambling games fun and worth losing a couple of dollars for the sake of enjoying it. Its different for everyone if they find gambling fun or not. You may have that outlook towards gamblig and a lot of people may share the same views as yours but there are a lot who looks differently at gambling. Though i think enjoying would not be reason enough for people to lose their minds over it. I think one of the best ways to quit gambling is to lose a very large amount of money in it. Most people only learn things the hard way and losing a very significant amount would be a good reality check |

The best method would be to reduce your access to your bankroll IMO and keeping the coins secure in the same time, keeping private keys in vaults in banks or secure locations would be the best IMO.
yes actually if you have no idea to manage your bitcoin then it is better to stay away to touch the bitcoin that you have , sometimes gambling turn to something horrible causing you out of control in spending money. no money then no gamble , as times goes by it may makes you forget it all. Yep don't ever touch your bankroll if you don't want to lose them all. It is not just happening occasionally that gambling turns to something horrible but it happens very often when you are this type of gambler that don't know when to quit or stop. But if you are responsible one and you manage to learn from all your mistakes, you will realize that anything you can do just to quit gambling. What we are saying, you are always taking the risk of losing, or you are not afraid in losing. Gambling is one of the most hardest part if you are involve with it. If you are gambler, you do not have the fear of losing your own money, because of your greediness, and all the stakes you are going to lose is not on your mind. Greediness is one of the hardest part of the gambler. Most of the time we lose that is why we lose in the long run also, it's gambling and there is no certainty on the results so we are risking on something that is based only on our prediction. If you are afraid of losing, then better not gamble at all. There are times we think we have this sure bet but it does not result to what we are expecting and hence we are very upset and will result to being desperate in winning which violates our game plan especially in managing our bankroll. |
