I took my car for the first oil change here and Sam helped me with everything. Sam is incredible and hassle free. He truly took care of me and my car. I'm super grateful and will definitely come here for other service needs. I definitely recommend everyone to give Sam the chance to help. This dealer had a very comfortable lounge for customers waiting with WiFi, tv, vending machines and two great coffee machines.

My wait time was exactly as Sam said, approximately hour and a half. Great customer service.

BUYER BEWARE: STEER CLEAR (SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES)

So you guys know me, I am brutally honest and I did not want to leave this review but enough is enough and I want to save people time and money. So a few years back in December 2021, I purchased a vehicle from their sister company Infinity of Van Nuys. I put down $4,000 in cash and got the payment I wanted. The car was still under warranty and so I thought I was good until the car died a week later and the EPC light came on the dash and wouldn't go off; and when this happened it would cause the car to shut down, you would press the gas but it wouldn't go, you would have to shut the car off and on and it would reset but the light would stay on. As well the tire light stayed on.

I found myself at the dealership at least 7 more times within the first two months of having the car and that was just the beginning of my sorrows. This review would be entirely too long to share all of my woes over the past two and almost a half years, but three major repairs, all new tires, and lots of other mechanical issues later, I finally have a car that is working in proper condition but basically they sold me a lemon.

We have to remember though if the car is a different make than the cars sold at the dealership, like a VW from Infinity, that means someone got out of that car and into another but I digress. They also sold me the car without the tire changing kit which I didn't discover until August 2023, so I ended calling the General Sales Manager almost two years later to make a formal complaint and he went and bought me one from the dealership and extended to mea personal invitation to reach out directly to him when my son was ready to get another vehicle, and this is where Nissan comes in.

So, my son wanted a vehicle that just so happened to be on Nissan of Van Nuys lot and so I called and found out that the General Sales Manager for Infinity, who is also the General Sales Manager at Nissan, was expected to be there on that lot on the day of our visit until 8pm. I was told by Raul, another manager, to come over and Albert (GSM), would see me and would help us. I told him, Raul, I just want to deal with Albert.

So he assured me he would see me and he did. He came out and told me that he would do everything to help us and give us all the information we need and it was good to see me again and that was the first and last that I would see or hear from him on this visit. Not quite the same as when I saw him last and he was apologizing for the horrible customer service and assuring me that this was not their standard but again, I digress.

Raul seats us in the waiting area and brings over another young sales rep who asked me three times if I wanted coffee and popcorn, Omar (nice guy - no issue with him except that he is learning unethical business practices) but Raul knew I didn't want to deal with anybody but Albert, so why would he not ask me if it was okay for him to join us, anyway, they start with the game, you know, the sales speech and lender this and credit that.

I was told in person by Albert and over the phone by a salesman by the name of Chuy that they have in-house financing and I know they do because another family member was recently financed in house but when I wasn't going for their sales pitch and more money down scam, Raul then tells me that they do NOT do in house financing. He had already told three lies before that and wasn't answering direct questions so it was time for us to leave. I do not deal with people who tell lies.

I think they thought I was sad because we didn't purchase the vehicle my son wanted, but I wasn't. He wasn't. I was disappointed in them because I saw their snake like behavior. They were trying to pressure us into a very bad deal but I am not desperate and neither is my son, so we walked away with no problem. But it just upset me because you would think in 2024, and in California where they are talking about doing away with fuel engine cars and making them obsolete that they would be trying to give the cars away. Go figure.

Lastly, I received no grace or mercy or consideration for that matter with regards to the lemon their sister company sold me nor for the unresolved mechanical issues that caused me to be late a few payments, which was not any fault of my own however, Raul and the lender, which by the way we are financed with a bank thank you very much, not some crooked high interest rate lender, but you would think the lenders they deal with should be informed and understand that a late payment is not the same as a missed payment and life happens. Ooh child. Woosah.

DO NOT GO HERE. THEY ARE LIARS AND THIEVES IF YOU LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT. DON'T LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT. Wish I didn't have to give one star.

WARNING!!! Don't come here. They are rude, dishonest, and disrespectful. I was sold a brand new car and the car starter didn't work. They said "it happens nothing they can do. Try driving it more".

If you have any questions it's impossible to get ahold of the finance team. You have to go in wait for help and sit around while they hangout and joke around like high schoolers on lunch break. If you have any issues good luck having them try and fix it. I had a lease and they made you sign to extend warranty before you could purchase it. They say you can cancel at anytime. Then if you try to cancel your warranty they say you can't unless you sell it. The finance manger told me "don't cancel it's a hassle and rolled his eyes".

They make you jump through hopes for simple tasks and they over charge you. They also lose paper work somehow. Worst experience ever.

Trash service. Trash employees. Trash cars.

A special thanks and shout out to Eric ( Internet Sales Manager) ! The experience of shopping for a car can be stressful but he made my family feel at home. He was so knowledgeable and passionate about the product he was selling. He was patient and really took the time to explain the features etc. We negotiated with the dealership and Eric made that process smoother. Kuddos to him! Also, Art from the Finanace Dept. closed the deal very swiftly! Friendly and very approachable as well! The much appreciated gesture was when someone from the management team came out and thanked my husband for his service in the military. An example of a class act indeed!
We will definitely recommend Eric & the team again!

Unfortunately a lot of the reviews are correct when they talk about the lack of customer service at this Nissan dealership specifically. I was working with the Service Department on my car and everything seemed to be taking x5 longer than normal. Just to pick up my car, it took 45 minutes, which just consisted of literally me paying at the register, and not doing anything else. I don't know why it took multiple workers here so long, as standing and waiting just to pick up my car that long is absolutely wild, and very unnecessary. I was heavily heavily heavily pushed and encouraged to do add-ons to my car that weren't necessary for the overall general procedure for my car in the first place. Would not recommend, felt like it took lots of extra time and money vs. a local mechanic.

So I have always taken my car to Nissan of Van Nuys for all my service because I thought I could trust the dealership over other repair shops even if the services was more expensive. Well I took my car in May 2023 and paid over $800.00 to replace my breaks. The next morning I noticed my breaks had a horrible squeak so I called in and they informed me it was because they are new. Fast forward two months later the squeaking is increasing worse so I called in again and this time they told me it was due to the cold weather. I have taken my car in four different times because up until I had my brakes changed at the dealership I never had an issue with my brakes. Not only do they squeak but now make a weird grinding sound. The last visit they told me I passed the mileage to have them replaced under warranty and there was nothing they could do even though they have record of my calling in about my brakes from the day I had them changed.
DON'T WASTE TJE EXTRA MONEY TO HAVE THE DEALERSHIP SERVICE YOUR CAR!

Complete Crooks these guys bait and switched my father that is 76 years old and took my car as a trade-in without my verbal or written consent.
They literally took my car in illegally for a trade-in and told me too bad your dad already signed the paperwork and took the car off the lot.
When I called them immediately after the deal, they told me too bad. Your dad already drove off the lot. There's no cooling off. In California.
But I guess selling to a senior citizen model at full price is the motto of this dealership.
Good job to the salesman for making your hundred dollar commission ripping my dad off.

Jose has exceeded my expectations and was able to get me my dream car while also giving me advice and guidance on how to fix my credit. He is honest, direct, and very committed in giving you the best experience. I would definitely recommend making an appointment with Jose if it's your first time here. He's not only knowledgeable but he's also a great energy to be around when making a big decision like this. All these other salesmen need to take notes!
      Thank you Jose :)
