Are you talking about mycoinsstore here:

Ok, this is a plan of resurrection, that I propose for BEE community.

1. Choose and register a domain name for a Beecoin new website. I propose a "beecoin.be", but the community should decide.
2. Set up a dedicated BEE node with full-synced blockchain. This requires a small change of BEE wallet code, no need of hard-fork.
3. Set up an official Beecoin website. Public main info about BEE project, the BEE idea etc, upload wallets.
4. Set up a BEE block explorer.
5. Gather community of present BEE bagholders and potential investors to decide the mutual future of Beecoin and, maybe, elect some official BEE persons that will be responsible for BEE future.
6. Choose the exchange(s) that BEE will focus to get listed, get listed there, start ICO (maybe) or simply trade and raise BEE value.
7. Choose a new developer for BEE, do a swap, hard-fork etc - all it's up to community.
8. BEE to the mooooon!!!! Smiley

so what to do next?

The chain is up and synced up ? so it is functional.

Do we want to develop the coin further or just leave it as it is?

Those asking me what to be done about soopy? well what is there to say. He came back and got the chain running.

Yes he sold 3 billion beecoins and left the project. Yes only 1 billion of those coins were his own as reward for fixing up beecoin.

So 2 billion were sold and those could be seen as theft or a scam. So 2/3 of 288 LTC that were raised in the sale.

A few people have suggested to me that they would like a scam topic created about this in the main board. Those people have also speculated that those funds were used for the developement of NAV coin. I have no evidence of this and so I do not see how I can create such a topic at this time. But the fact 2 billion were sold without consult of the community is without question.

I think the best way for this is to release soopy from beecoin since he probably has so many other projects going on. Continually asking a person to do tasks for which he no longer really gets any reward is futile for both parties.

However is there a consensus here as to one last task he can do for beecoin before being released?

We could ask he upgrades beecoin to the latest blackcoin code base or something just so we have a solid base to work from and call it all square with soopy? and then move ahead.

One last thing if you have question ask them on this thread not PM me. I am not a developer and have no control over the code of beecoin. I hold around 8 billion of the communities coins which i think is around 25% of the minting or greater since some are maybe lost forever now. Those coins should be used as the community wants. Either auctioned off and funds used to purchase exchange listings and further development or given directly over time to a new developer.

After we are on a solid coin base we can decide what to do next.

No, u will have a longer wait. More than 20 years will pass till the system is up and functional. However this is negotiable and u can spend less than 20 years on developing the ecosystem for a brand-new asset.

I have offered a few developers a milestone release of the beecoin community coins as yet nobody has said yes.

Most are more interested in BTC only.

If the coin is fully functional now it may be far cheaper to get moved over to a blackcoin or other codebase that is better.

Other community members are also free to contact other developers on this board to see if they are interested in helping.

Who can recall the price beecoin was selling for in litoshi before the allcoin scam went dark?  I recall it was around 15 litoshi? is this correct or was it less or more?

If 15 litoshi is though fair by a few more of the community I will start to see if we can auction off some community coins to raise funds to encourage a new dev and pay for seed nodes, explorer etc.

I even used my own money to put Beecoin on Chainz explorer here:
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/bee2/#!crypto

It still has more than 2 months of site hosting.

I do things to help this coin, yet soopy always appears uninterested. Some people just do not understand or appreciate team efforts.

Yes I understand you have done a lot to help beecoin.

We have at least now got the coin running so it will be easier do a coin swap when we decide which coin we should clone. I mean all coins are opensource for the most part so we may as well chose the most up to date pos coin.

anyone else been able to sync up?
How many gigs is the fully sync'd wallet right now?

Hi guys, finally my node is up and fully synced.
ip: 5.189.154.154
It needed almost two weeks to complete the sync from the scratch.
Asap I'll upload the chain somewhere for whom dosn't want to wait so much to completely sync
The good news is the chain doesn't seem to be broken.
Stay tuned.

p.s.: the size of the chain db is about 690MB

Thank you so very much mate. Well done, you're awesome.

I gracefully invite you to be a part of the BEECOIN Team.

I'm sorry guys for the late reply, I was having a few personal matters to attend to.

Let me also tell you that I was busy behind the scenes working on a plan for BeeCoin for the New Year.

Let me list them below:

* I've already designed a new logo for BeeCoin , which I will unveil on Monday.

* A Website has been developed which will be released by before the year ends.

* All other major changes will bear fruits in the beginning of new year with new hopes and busy bees.

Please bear with us as we all work towards our common goals.

Warm Regards,
~SoopY~

You are always having personal matters to attend to. Do you have 10 children to look after ?  Huh  Huh  Tongue

You struggle, because you do not appreciate the teamwork of members that want to help you - you throw it all on the floor.

Yep, that's SoopY's song in the last 2 years.  Showing up after a good long while, posting a list of plans and promises, then disappear only to show up later with some "personal matter to attend to" boo hoo.

Now I don't want to sound ungrateful or anything like that, but after 2 years it's getting tiresome.

After we are on a solid coin base we can decide what to do next.

15 Litoshi is a fair BARGAIN PRICE.

This is not true. U have a lot to learn my son.

so what to do next?

After we are on a solid coin base we can decide what to do next.

soopy452000 - it's just the wind. We do not know when he will reappear, and that it will bring. You are not tired of waiting for him? Wink

I have only a small amount of BEE's (you saw my wallet screen), but I like this coin. And I wish BEE's a good future.

But people, if you will simply sit and wait for "messiah dev", - Beecoin will be dead forever. Think about this. " (mycoinsstore)

Is the stake rate 1% with the new coin as well ?
Are their giveaways or anything like that ?

There is a DEV FUND = 25% of total money supply, that is being held in a safe location, but we need a DEV to continue this project.

There is also along with this community war chest and dev tax on each block going to a wallet somewhere too. I have no idea if that is still running or what that address is

Actually its on the OP and is 10% of each new block.

This can be used also as incentive for a new dev or dev team.

There is little feedback from the community as to the auctioning of the beecoin community coins.

I guess we can start to auction them off on this thread since it is a dead coin without any funds to get this coin upgraded.

Last time I ask for community input on the price we should ask

What was the current rate in Litoshi when last on allcoin and what is fair rate to ask now?

Perhaps if we have some BTC waiting then a new dev will come forth. Who knows if they get interested in beecoin perhaps they will stay and work for bees in future.
