On call with charity Suicide Crisis

Joy Hibbins runs a charity Suicide Crisis in Gloucester, helping people who feel they can no longer cope.

A young woman, who we are calling Sarah to protect her identity, called the charity for help after feeling let down by her local mental health services.

Sarah and Joy could not get hold of her local NHS crisis team which is listed as open 24 hours for people who are at the point of suicide.

The local NHS mental health service, The 2gether Trust which runs the crisis team, said although it had been rated among the best in the country by the Care Quality Commission, there were occasions that it did not get it right.
