Today, Autoblog has a post about a patent from GM for a system that can use onboard sensors to detect how the driver is feeling -- and takeover the driving if it thinks the person is unable to focus on the task.

Merc190I'm confused. If the possibility of considering this is a reality, how might they consider it in the future? It seems that they are currently considering it but have not made a commitment. That said, I don't think they should, I lost a lot of respect for Ford's ST line when it got applied to SUV's with auto transmissions.
