The Blacc Hollywood rapper (real name Cameron Jibril Thomaz) filed a nearly identical response to the 30-year-old's papers in a Los Angeles court today, but there was one significant difference—and it had to do with the care of their almost-2-year-old son Sebastian 'The Bash' Taylor Thomaz.
According to the file, which was obtained by E! News, Wiz also cited irreconcilable differences for the reason of their split, but he's countering Rose's request for full physical custody of their little boy and asking that the court grant him joint custody and visitation rights.
The exes also have a prenup in place that will provide spousal support for Rose.
News of their surprising divorce went public earlier this week, sparking speculation as to what went wrong with the seemingly oh-so-in-love pair.
While some began pointing the finger at the curvaceous model, Amber took to Twitter to clear the air and to seemingly confirm rumors by claiming that it was her hubby who had a wandering eye.
"Please stop with the fake stories," she began. "I would never ever ever cheat on my husband in a million years I think u guys know this…." She continued, "Unfortunately now my ex husband can't say the same…I'm devastated and crushed but my main focus is Sebastian. Thank u all for the support in this difficult time."
A source also told E! News that the famous twosome "have had marital issues for some time now."
"They cared very much for each other but it all happened so fast between having the baby and getting married. They really did not know each other as much as they should have before getting married," the insider continued. "They both have not had the best pasts with relationships and when they met each other it was more lust at first sight than love at first sight."
Additionally, the source shot down any claims that Rose's new manager Nick Cannon had anything to do with their breakup. "Amber and Nick are not involved. It is just business and the rumors are false. Nick is just focused on the business side of things with Amber, nothing personal. They have never hooked up."
