バリ－マニロウの集大成ともいえる4枚組ベストです。バリ－のヒットソングをほぼ時系列で聴けてお買い得だとは思います。

ただ、残念なことに1982年の「レッツ・ハング・オン」と「オ－・ジュリ－」が収録されておらず、TOP40曲がすべてそろわないところが玉にキズです。
それと、曲目紹介で「歌の贈り物」がシングルエディットになっている情報も見受けられますが、実際はアルバムバ－ジョンです。WMPなどで曲目を自動取得しても"Edit"となるのですが、元のデ－タベ－スがまちがっているとしか考えられません。

バリ－の歌声にとことん浸ってみたい人にはかなりオススメです。

Ich spiele die Musik gern auf HiFi Technik der 70er und 80er.
Manilow hat die moderne Unterhaltung in USA entscheidend geprägt.
Klingt nicht verstaubt.
Bin eigentlich mehr Liebhaber des härteren Rock und war erst skeptisch.
Hörbar und voller Soundideen.

This arrived quickly and in perfect shape. Price was excellent as well.

All of his important songs are here - from Mandy to 'When October goes' plus one new song - 'Let Freedom Ring'. Sound is almost perfect as you would expect. It also includes several of his covers of 1950s, 1960s and 1970 songs.

Of course in a collection this vast there always a couple of clunkers - everyone will have their own but for me it's 'I am Your Child' and' Lonely Together'. But nearly every song is at least very good. We're had the good fortune to see Barry 4 times live. The first time was in Bloomington, IN in late 1980 or early 1981. At that time I considered that concert one of the best I've ever seen and it still ranks in my top 5 or 6. The last time we saw him was about 2 years ago in Indianapolis (Bankers Life Fieldhouse) from the second row and he still put on a super show.

Manilow and his music are quite simply embedded in many peoples lives and this collection shows us why.

I would rate this collection a 9.0 to 9.5 out of 10. Recommended for Manilow fans, anyone who likes 1970s to late 1980's music, in fact just about anyone who like good music!
