Chris Brown's team is reportedly applying for a child support quote from a judge, which will apparently pale in comparison to his original under-the-table arrangement with his baby's mother.

Chris Brown is often in the headlines, but this was a big week even for him. Reports that the singer had a 9-month-old child with 31-year-old former model Nia Guzman came out of the woodwork on Tuesday night, and the whole mess came to a climax with Brown's then-girlfriend Karrueche Tran calling it quits with the singer in a tweet (complete with a baby emoji).

Further details of the story have continued be revealed throughout the week, and the latest tip (courtesy of gossip behemoth TMZ) tells us that Brown only found out about the child about a month back, and worked out a generous under-the-table child support plan in exchange for Nia to keep things quiet. Of course, that's now fallen through, so Chris and his team have nixed the installment system they had set up, and are now looking to get a quote from a judge, which will likely be far less than Guzman was looking to make without going public.

The wealthy man that he is, we're sure Brown will make sure his child is more than taken care of either way. We'll keep you updated on any developments on the legal side of things.
