Room for a little one? Jeep owner gets the last laugh on corvette driver's selfish parking across two spaces

A man from New Jersey tried to teach another driver a lesson or two about parking after they selfishly took up several spaces outside a restaurant in New Jersey.

Kyle DeMattia, 20, parked his mud-covered Jeep half-on the sidewalk outside a Red Robin restaurant, with the remainder of his 4x4 sharing a space with the flashy sports car.

'The parking lot was packed except for a few spaces at the back and I could see people parking and walking by it in just plain annoyance,' DeMattia told NJ Advance Media.

DeMattia had been on an offroading trip and said he had been stuck in traffic for two hours before arriving at the restaurant.

After leaving his car perfectly parallel, albeit on the sidewalk, he then sat by the window in the Red Robin restaurant and had his meal - waiting to film the Corvette driver's reaction.

The video has since received more than 1 million views on YouTube.

'I just did enough to make him think some kid in a Jeep came and messed with his mid-life crisis mobile,' DeMattia said.

After the Corvette owner left, DeMattia said he was happy to move his Jeep and park it the way parking spaces are meant to be used.
