Ford is preparing a new Focus RS, and out latest spy shots show the new hot hatch testing in the guise of an ST.

Compared to the last time we saw Ford running a Focus RS prototype, this car is wearing a larger rear spoiler and a new coat of paint. Besides that, the front end looks heavily revised, probably to incorporate some new engine turbocharger components. Big four-piston brake calipers are fitted to this car, along with larger exhaust outlets.

The new 2.3-liter four-cylinder turbo engine destined for the 2015 Mustang is likely to power this car, with somewhere around 305 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. The new Focus RS may also adopt all-wheel drive.
