First minister backs national voter registration week

Push for electoral registration
The first minister has urged people in Scotland to register to vote in May's General Election.
Nicola Sturgeon said it was "vital" for anyone not yet registered to do so as soon as possible.
Ms Sturgeon was marking the start of national voter registration week, organised by Bite the Ballot.
It is a party-neutral organisation that encourages young people to make their vote count. Its Voter Registration Day will be held on Thursday.
Ms Sturgeon said: "One of the most positive aspects of the referendum campaign was that it re-energised debate and involvement, shaking up the political landscape across Scotland.
"As first minister I am keen to do everything I can to ensure that the spirit of engagement sparked by the discussion on Scotland's future continues to blossom.
"With fewer than 100 days to go until polling day for the General Election, it is vital that those who haven't yet registered to vote do so as soon as possible."
