Assistant Research Officer: (1) Masters’ Degree in Ore Dressing/ Mineral Processing/ Geology/ Physics/ Chemistry (OR) Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree in Mineral Engineering/ Chemical Engineering / Metallurgy. (2) Minimum 02 years relevant experience.

Training Officer: Bachelors Degree in any Engineering or Technology (B.E./ B.Tech) or Diploma in Engineering or Technology.

Professor: Ph.D. Degree and 1st class either at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in and Master's Degree in relevant discipline. The he UPSC selection is based on interviews. If the number of applications is high, the UPSC Commission will conduct a written examination to shortlist applicants for the interview.
