TIPM removal to get to connections?
I need some help here please.
I started a thread about 3 weeks ago: "Help! Head Lights not working."
https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/stoc...orking-235902/
What I'm trying to due is what a Chrysler tech to get my head lights working again.
He said he lifted up the TIPM and disconneted the reconnected some connectors and my head lights worked for about 2 weeks.
How does the TIPM lift out? Clips? Srews?
If I dissconnect my battery, is it safe to do this?
Out of my 3/36 warranty.
Any help would be, well, very helpful.

Disconnect the battery negative terminal before disconnecting any plug under the TIPM.
Push the 4 tabs inward, and lift the TIPM up.

Thank you very much ronjenx. You help so many on this forum.
Everything went smoothly. After disconnecting the negative battery cable, lifted the TIPM up and disconnected all connections including the heavy gauge ground wire.
Cleaned with automotive connector spray cleaner/protector. Made sure connections were completly dry, then put it all back.
(Head lights were working/not working with no rhyme or reason I can find, nor dealer)

Head lights are working now. Only time will tell.
