This is a remarkably strong album, start to finish. I played my record countless times, then when I got it in CD, I played it even more. I'm buying a second CD of it because I am always looking for the one I already have-- seems I am always grabbing it to play in the garage, in the car, or at work. When I hear the opening notes on this album, it immediately puts me in a great mood. And this is one album that I always listen to the whole thing, start to finish whenever I play it. The other Al Green record that is close to being this good is "Call Me." This one gets the nod though. I cannot imagine why this one doesn't get more attention than it does--it certainly deserves it.

This was the first Al Green album I bought in the '70.. It totally got worn out by so much playing.. It is ultimate 'Al Green soul'-- very funky, sweet, soulful, and a total 'keeper. I am now getting it on CD, to re-live old memories and keep Al Green's wonderful spirit alive by playing it in the car, and wherever I am.... Get it.
You won't be disappointed...
