UK Anti-Doping (Ukad) is investigating claims made in a BBC documentary about alleged doping techniques practised by Alberto Salazar.

    Alberto Salazar

The BBC Panorama programme "Catch Me If You Can" claimed US coach Salazar violated various anti-doping rules and used testosterone medication on Galen Rupp in 2002 when he was 16.

Both men deny all the claims. The BBC understands that US Anti-Doping Agency (Usada) is also investigating the allegations.

London 2012 10,000m silver medallist Rupp is training partner of Great Britain's Mo Farah. Both athletes are part of Salazar's Nike Oregon Project.

  136. 'Biggest game'

    Women's World Cup

England captain Steph Houghton has described her team's World Cup semi-final as the biggest game in English women's football history.

The Lionesses are the first England team to reach a World Cup last four spot since 1990 and face Japan in Edmonton on 2 July (00:00 BST).

    Steph Houghton

"We should be really proud of being the first women's team to get to the semi-final," Houghton, 27, said. "It's the biggest game in English women's football and I can't wait."

Manchester City defender Houghton was part of the England squad which lost to France in the last eight of the 2011 World Cup and the Great Britain squad defeated by Canada in the quarter-finals of the London 2012 Olympics.

  139. Olympic aim

    Football

British Olympic chiefs will campaign to bring back a GB team after England's historic success in reaching the Women's World Cup semi-finals.

Plans for men's and women's sides at the 2016 Games were halted by protests from the Irish, Scottish and Welsh FAs and British Olympic Association chief Bill Sweeney said he is "disappointed" there will be no GB football sides in Rio.

"It is absolutely our wish to have a football team competing for Team GB in 2020 [in Tokyo]," said Sweeney.

"We will therefore do everything possible to make this happen."

  140. Rude word

    Tennis

A massive day for Broady, so the focus afterwards was all about his memorable victory right? Erm, not quite.

The Brit received a warning from the umpire for swearing and could forfeit some of his £47,000 prize money as a result.

    g

Asked about it, Broady gave a nice response: "Being from Manchester and 21, you know, my friends, people swear."

He added: "But it's not right to do it, obviously, in front of a couple thousand people, especially when there's young kids in the audience."

  141. Brilliant Broady

    Tennis

Liam Broady is dominating many of the back pages today and quite rightly so after his epic victory over Australia's Marinko Matosevic, when the British number six came back from two sets down to win.

It is the biggest win of the 21-year-old's career.

    g

"It means everything," said the former Wimbledon junior finalist, who plays Belgian 16th seed David Goffin in round two.

"It's my home tournament. I've had good success here before. It's been a long road to finding myself in the main draw of a Slam. I couldn't be happier."

  142. Guus gone

    Football

Guus Hiddink has left his position as Netherlands head coach overnight after just 10 months in charge.

The 68-year-old had a contract until the end of Euro 2016, but lost five and won only four of his 10 matches in charge.

    g

The Dutch are five points behind leaders Iceland and three adrift of the Czech Republic in in their Euro 2016 qualifying group.

"I am sorry that it went this way," said Hiddink. "I thought it was an honour to again coach the Dutch national team and I wish my successor, the staff and the players every success on the way to the European Championships in France."

Is Sergio Ramos heading to England and Old Trafford?

It is certainly a possibility, after Manchester United confirmed a £28.6m bid for Real Madrid defender has been made.

    ramos

The Red Devils believe the 29-year-old wants to leave Real after the Spaniards failed to offer him an extension to his contract, which expires in 2017.

Ramos joined Real from Sevilla in 2005 and scored their injury-time equaliser in their Champions League final victory over Atletico Madrid in 2014.

  146. 99 not out?

Chile have never won the Copa in 99 years of trying but will now play either Argentina or Paraguay in Saturday's final.

  147. Chile's Copa delight

    Football

Let's kick-off with some overnight news from the Copa America, where hosts Chile reached their first final in 28 years after seeing off the 10 men of Peru in Santiago.

Chile could have had midfielder Arturo Vidal sent off early on before Peru defender Carlos Zambrano was dismissed.

    Chile goal

Former QPR striker Eduardo Vargas then put Chile ahead after Alexis Sanchez had hit the post but Peru levelled through a Gary Medel own goal.

But Chile deservedly won it when Vargas fired home a fine second from 25 yards.
